Day Thirteen-Feb 11th part two

Power of Sport Gala Dinner Event

This was awesome! The event was held at the Commodore ballroom. The place was beautiful with tables all set.

‘Tonights gonna be a good good night’ (our theme song)

Tewanee starts off by welcoming us to the Gala event. He said that we were in for an exciting dinner! Well we were joined with us were tons of dignitaries, Aboriginal Athletes, singers. It was awesome! We got to sit with the Chief of the Lil’wat Nation and the Nike representative. We had front row seats! WOOO!!!

Billy Mays, the first ever Native American Olympic Gold Medalist spoke to us and told his story of being a rez boy to becoming an Olympia. Trully inspirational.

Then the Native Nike representative came out and told us his story of how he became a part of the N7 program. Then he brought out a couple of Aborginal Athletes. Umm… Don’t remember theirs names?!?! Amanda help me out! And Crystal Shawanda who did a private performance for us.

Also the Nike rep told us that we would all be getting the new N7 which have not been released yet!

It was an awesome night!
